TikTok, the video-sharing social media app, was working to track down and delete a video a Mississippi man committing suicide, BuzzFeed News reported.

The video reportedly has been circulating since Sunday night, the website reported.

A TikTok spokesperson told BuzzFeed that the video violates TikTok’s policies regarding violence and suicide. TikTok said it would ban users that share or upload the video.

The man in the video, who has not been identified, reportedly recorded his own suicide in a Facebook Live recording.

The video reportedly shows a man with a gray beard seated at a desk who then kills himself with a gun.

Apparently some users are editing sections of the suicide video into other apparently innocuous videos in an attempt to trick people into watching it.
