Team asks for prayers after Mississippi high school football player hospitalized with COVID-19
A Mississippi high school football player is hospitalized with the COVID-19 coronavirus and his team asked for the community to pray for him Tuesday.
Kosciusko High School posted on social media that student Cam Smith was hospitalized at Blare E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson due to complications from coronavirus.
“We ask this morning that you take some time out of your day to pray for a member of our football family,” the school’s official football Twitter account posted. “All your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.”

The prep sports website MaxPreps.com lists Cameron Smith as being a freshman at Kosciusko who plays wide receiver and running back.
