Mississippi’s new coronavirus case averages creep up again; no new deaths reported Monday

Mississippi’s 7-day, daily average of new COVID-19 coronavirus cases rose Monday with the latest results released from the state, but fortunately, no new deaths were reported.
The Mississippi State Health Department reported 215 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The state reported no new deaths Monday.
In total, 100,703 cases have been found in the state since March. The state believes approximately 89,700 of those cases have recovered.
A total of 3,013 people in Mississippi have died as a result of coronavirus, the state reported.
The 7-day, daily average of new cases rose to 522 with Monday’s update.
The 14-day, daily average rose to 511 cases per day.
