The Mississippi State security staff did some of the best blocking on the field of Davis-Wade Stadium Saturday afternoon when the Bulldogs lost to Texas A&M.

Video emerged during Saturday’s game in which two women were tackled and removed from the field in Starkville.

Matt Bush of USA TODAY Sports captured a photo in which he details a “Mississippi Highway Patrolman apprehends a fan who ran onto the field and displayed a PETA sign during the first quarter of the game between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Texas A&M Aggies at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

Last year, PETA sent Mississippi State a letter asking them to retire their live mascot and to pledge not to use live mascots anymore.
