A 13-year-old boy is the second person to die as a result of gunfire that broke out two days earlier at a Mississippi fast food restaurant.
The second victim, Robert Luckett, died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center early Friday, Madison County coroner Alex Breeland told The Clarion-Ledger.
Two other victims were in critical condition.
The shooting happened about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at a McDonald’s in Canton, where the victims were in the drive-thru line, Canton Police Department Assistant Chief Terence Ware said.
Twenty-four-year-old Dakarrie Johnson died in the shooting. A suspect was arrested Wednesday night.
Ware said Thursday the shooting is believed to have been retaliation for another incident months earlier.
