A Mississippi teenager drowned Sunday while wading in a creek with his friends, a local newspaper reported.

Jazion Ezell, 16, a freshman at Amory High School drowned in Town Creek while wading with six of his friends, the Monroe Journal reported.

The incident occurred Sunday afternoon, but Ezell’s body was no located until Monday morning.
