Mississippi woman killed when tree falls, crushes residence

A Mississippi woman was killed Wednesday when a large tree collapsed onto her mobile home.
A Wilkinson County official told the Associated Press that Ester Jarrell, 62, was killed Wednesday when a tree toppled after heavy rainfall soaked the ground and weakened the root structure.
The weather system dumped large amounts of rain across southern portions of Mississippi.
