An elderly Mississippi man drowned Tuesday after police believe he fell out of a boat and into the Pearl River reservoir.

Reservoir police said the accident happened at approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near the Coal Bluff area.

The man was identified as Alvin Randall Lowe, 70, of Walnut Grove, Mississippi.
