A Mississippi toddler was killed Thursday when a teenager playing with a gun accidentally shot him.

Jackson Police said the boy was shot and killed after a 14-year-old was playing with a gun inside the same Coronet Place residence with the toddler.

The gun was accidentally discharged, shooting the boy.

The victim was taken to the hospital but died later.
