Officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for two men who have escaped a Mississippi crisis stabilization unit.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office issued an alert on social media asking the public to be on the lookout for John David Newcomb and William Marcus Hieronymus.

Both men reportedly escaped the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Gulfport on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, around 7:09 p.m.

The two men reportedly left on foot.
