Sunday is a day of some big changes across the state. Rain is likely for most areas with mostly cloudy skies most of the day. We’ll have some gusty winds along with some cool temperatures. This is leading up to some of the coldest temps we’ve seen since last winter.

We’ll have either real feel or actual temperatures below freezing after dark for several places Sunday night through Tuesday night, so it’s time to remember the four Ps of protection during freezing weather: People, pets, plants, and pipes.

North Mississippi

Rain likely, especially in the morning. Mostly cloudy with a high of 57. Mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming clear overnight. Low of 29 and breezy.

Central Mississippi

Showers likely with cloudy skies. High of 58. Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 31.

South Mississippi

Rain likely with a high of 60. Mostly cloudy Sunday night with a low of 36.

Gulf Coast

Cloudy with rain likely. High of 67. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 44.
