Mississippi Skies: Rainy, cold weather on its way to the Magnolia State. Just how cold will it go?

Sunday is a day of some big changes across the state. Rain is likely for most areas with mostly cloudy skies most of the day. We’ll have some gusty winds along with some cool temperatures. This is leading up to some of the coldest temps we’ve seen since last winter.

We’ll have either real feel or actual temperatures below freezing after dark for several places Sunday night through Tuesday night, so it’s time to remember the four Ps of protection during freezing weather: People, pets, plants, and pipes.

Gulf Coast

Cloudy with rain likely. High of 67. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 44.
