Two teens, adult male arrested in Black Friday armed carjacking in Mississippi’s capital city

Mississippi police have arrested two teenagers and a 21-year-old male in connection with an armed carjacking.
WLBT in Jackson reports that police have taken into custody Amare Jerome Lewis, 21, and a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy in connection with a carjacking that occurred on Friday, Nov. 24, in the 4700 block of Clinton Boulevard.
The three suspects reportedly stole a blue Honda Civic.
Jackson police located the stolen vehicle near Bailey Avenue near Woodrow Wilson Boulevard.
The suspects tried to flee police but ended up crashing into another vehicle. The suspects then reportedly tried to flee on foot.
According to police, no one was seriously injured in the incident.
