A 24-year-old Mississippi man died early Tuesday morning in a collision with an 18-wheeler.

According to information from the Mississippi Highway Patrol,  the crash occurred about 5:48 a.m. on Mississippi 3 near International Paper Company in Warren County.

A 2022 Ford F-150 driven by Tyler McRight, 24, of Vicksburg, was traveling south when it collided with a 2015 Peterbilt driven by 50-year-old Otis Williams of Glen Allen.

McRight received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the Peterbilt was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
