Five people injured in shooting at Mississippi gas station. Police say those injured had attended after-funeral event for recent victim.

Five people, including two juveniles, were injured in a shooting at a Mississippi gas station that police believe was gang-related.

Officials with the McComb Police Department said the shooting that occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the intersection of Presley Boulevard and Bendat Street in McComb happened after some of the victims had attended an after-funeral event that had been held for a victim of another shooting.

Three adults and two juveniles were injured in Saturday’s shooting.

Four of the victims have been treated and released from the hospital. The fifth victim was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

The shooting remains under investigation.
