A Mississippi police department arrested a man on an aggravated domestic violence charge Sunday.

According to information provided by the Tupelo Police Department Tuesday, officers responded to Walker Street in reference to a DV call. Michael A. Betts, 55, of Tupelo, was arrested.

A Tupelo Municipal Court judge ordered bond at $50,000. The charge will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
