A 25-year-old pedestrian on a Mississippi highway was struck and killed by a vehicle.

The weekend crash happened Sunday evening on Highway 45 near Front Street in Tupelo.

Officials from the Lee County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Antonio Ramos, 25, of Georgia.

The Tupelo Police Department is investigating the crash.
