A woman who drove into two Mississippi police cars while trying to flee an accident Tuesday is now facing a slew of charges.

Pearl Police were responding to a two-car wreck in front of a convenience store on Airport Road when the driver, later identified as Kay Lynn Gregory, 66, fled the scene as officers arrived.

Pearl Police pursued the woman down Airport Road into Flowood, where Flowood officers were waiting to assist.

After being blocked on both sides of the road by police, Gregory reportedly hit a Flowood Police car, tried to back away, and then hit a Pearl Police vehicle.

Gregory was then taken into custody.

Gregory has been charged with felony fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident, malicious mischief, felony destruction of city property, resisting arrest, and DUI.
