Hunter leaving Mississippi woods discovers human remains Saturday night

Mississippi officials have launched an investigation after human remains were discovered by a hunter leaving the woods Saturday.
WTVA in Tupelo reports that a hunter found the remains near CR-211 in Calhoun County Saturday night.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s and Bruce Police Departments were dispatched to the scene.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation was also called to the scene along with the state crime scene unit.
No other information about the incident is available.
