A Mississippi police department made an arrest Monday in hopes that a four-year-old armed robbery case has now been solved.

According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers served a Lee County Circuit Court Alias Capias Warrant on Dvanta R. Randle, 28, of Prairie for armed robbery. This warrant is pertaining to a 2019 case in which a victim was robbed at gunpoint.

Randle was ordered to be held without bond by the Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued.

This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
