22-year-old man dies in rear-end collision with log truck at Mississippi intersection

A 22-year-old driver was killed Thursday morning when he rear-ended a log truck at a Mississippi intersection.
Officials with the Oktibbeha County coroner’s office report that Preston Payne, 22, died in a crash at the intersection of Highway 82 and Douglastown Road west of Starkville.
The accident happened at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
The accident remains under investigation.
