Mississippi Skies: Cold weather bringing freezing temps all the way to the Gulf Coast

The cold front has certainly left its mark across the Magnolia State. Unfortunately, the slight chance of snow isn’t really showing up in the models anymore, but the cold air will stick around for a couple days.

We’ll have some breezy conditions, so the temperature will feel colder, especially in southern Mississippi.

Freezing temperatures will dip all the way to the Gulf Coast for the next couple of nights. Be sure to check on people, pets, pipes, and plants!

Increasing clouds and breezy. High of 45. Thursday night, mostly cloudy with a low of 30.

Central Mississippi

Sunny with a high of 47. Frost overnight. Mostly cloudy with a low of 28.

South Mississippi

Sunny and breezy with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. High of 50. Frost overnight with a low of 29.

Gulf Coast

Sunny and breezy with a high of 54. Frost overnight. Clear, with a low of 32.
