A Mississippi hunting camp was destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.
Firefighters in southwest Mississippi responded to the blaze at 123 Ellislie Plantation Road in Adams County near the Wilkinson County border Saturday.
Natchez Fire Chief Robert Arrington said no one is known to have been injured in the blaze.
At approximately 3 a.m. on Saturday, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call about the building being fully engulfed in flames.
Natchez Fire Department engines 2 and 4 responded, as did the Kingston and Lake Montrose volunteer fire departments.
Arrington said the building was a total loss. He said the fire’s cause is unknown yet, but it is still under investigation.
