Mississippi Skies: Wet weather on the way. When do showers begin?

Published 9:30 pm Monday, January 1, 2024

Tuesday will be another cool, sunny day across the state, but changes are on the way Tuesday night.

We’ll start having some clouds move into the state overnight. We’ll have the chance for a few sprinkles upstate while southern Mississippi will have better chances of rain. There could even be a thunderstorm or two along the Gulf Coast.

Wednesday will be another soggy day for most of us. Temperatures should stay mostly above freezing while we have moisture, but a few snow flurries could sneak into the atmosphere.
