Mississippi deputy shot, killed

A Mississippi sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed Thursday night.
According to WLOX TV, a chase began in George County and ended in Perry County.
Beaumont police told WLOX that the George County Sheriff’s Department deputy was shot and killed by the suspect at a Dollar General store on U. S. Highway 98 near Rocky Creek.
The suspect was killed near Highway 15 in Perry County.
