Mississippi man arrested for third DUI, felony fleeing

A Mississippi police department arrested a man for felony feeling, DUI – third, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers served a warrant Dec. 28, 2023. They arrested Floyd Bogan Jr., 34, of Okolona. The warrant was from a 2019 case in which a suspect fled after police attempted to stop him for a traffic violation. He was allegedly in possession of the firearm.

Bogan was ordered to be held without bond by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
