Mississippi Skies: Another round of wintry weather on the way

Published 8:38 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024

Thursday will see a big warmup in southern Mississippi and on the Gulf Coast with slightly warmer temperatures across the rest of the state.

In the northern counties, we’re expecting another round of ice. Roads didn’t have time to improve much, and Thursday’s weather isn’t going to help travelers.

We’ll also have some rain Thursday and Thursday evening for other parts of the state, but we should remain above freezing while it falls.
