Mississippi man posing as student boards school bus, attempts to enter high school

A 24-year-old Mississippi man was arrested after he reportedly attempted to enter a Mississippi high school after boarding a school bus posing as a student.

WJTV in Jackson reports that Lamarcus McDougle, of Jackson, was taken into custody by Rankin County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

McDougle reportedly boarded a school bus and rode it to Northwest Rankin High School.

Rankin County deputies arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly posing as a student.

When McDougle entered the building, he was questioned by staff and asked to show his student ID.

When McDougle could not produce a student ID and offer a valid reason for being on campus, he was detained by the administrators and the school’s resource officer.

The incident remains under investigation.
