A Mississippi interstate traffic stop led to the confiscation of roughly 130 pounds of “high-grade” marijuana.

Officials with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office report that deputies found the marijuana with a street value of nearly $400,000 after pulling over a commercial vehicle transport truck on Interstate 20 Friday.

While making the traffic stop, deputies with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team said they became suspicious of one of the vehicles being transported. During a search of the vehicle, the deputies, with the help of sheriff’s department canines, discovered about 130 pounds of high-grade marijuana in duffel bags in the trunk of the vehicle.
