Mississippi authorities are looking for an ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect in connection with a fatal shooting Tuesday.

The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office reported on social media the following:

At approximately 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday January 23, 2024 Deputies with the Alcorn County Sheriff’s office responded to 397 Highway 356 Apartment 16 Rienzi.

Deputies discovered a female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

During the investigation deputies identified a suspect, Demario Mcgaha of Corinth had left the scene in a white Mercury Grand Marquis with large rims.

Mcgaha is considered armed and dangerous.
