Mississippi Skies: Foggy morning Sunday, severe weather threat to begin the week

Published 8:59 pm Saturday, March 2, 2024

We may get a little sunshine across the state Sunday, but the next round of storms is on the way.

We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds throughout the state with highs in the mid-70s. Humidity will make an impact, too.

In the morning, fog could also cause some problems, especially early. Patchy fog is possible in central and southern Mississippi, but dense fog becomes more of a threat closer to the Gulf Coast counties. We’ll have more fog Sunday night.
