Traffic alert: Be aware of upcoming lane closures on Interstate-20 Mississippi River bridge

Drivers on Interstate 20 should be aware of an upcoming lane closure on the bridge crossing the Mississippi River.
Officials from the Louisiana Department of Transportation announced a lane closure on the I-20 Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg beginning on March 11.
DOTD officials say that the eastbound right lane will be closed from March 11 to March 12, and the westbound right lane will be closed from March 13 to March 14.
The lanes are being closed for lane inspections, DOTD officials say.
No detours have been given at this time.
DOTD reminds motorists to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
