A man was arrested after allegedly setting a vehicle parked in a Mississippi motel parking lot.

Jose Cuellzar, 38, of Oxford, was charged with arson in the incident. An Oxford Municipal Court Judge gave him a bond of $5,000.

According to the Oxford Police Department, officers responded Saturday to the Super 8 Motel for a vehicle fire.

Cuellzar was on the scene, and officers quickly took him into custody.

The Oxford Fire Department responded to the scene and put out the fire.
