Mississippi Skies: Cooler weather begins this week. How long will it last?

Published 11:08 pm Sunday, March 10, 2024

We’ll have some more frosty weather Monday morning in parts of northern Mississippi. There will be plenty of sunshine with highs in the 60s.

Our temperatures will increase the next couple of days before our next chance of rain. Once the next front arrives, we’ll have several days with rain chances. If this week is spring break for your family, plan the outdoor activities earlier in the week with some inside options Thursday evening through Saturday.

Models are showing up to four inches of rain could fall later this week.
