Five arrested for shooting into Mississippi home; public’s help needed in finding sixth suspect

A Mississippi police department arrested five people for shooting into a home.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, at approximately 9 p.m., Hattiesburg Police responded to a call in reference to a shooting incident in Vickers Circle.

The investigation revealed that the residence, which was occupied by five young children and six adults, was struck by multiple rounds.

An adult female victim inside the home was hit and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Several vehicles parked outside the residence were also struck by the gunfire, when the suspects fired at several additional victims standing in the yard.

Hattiesburg Police have arrested and charged the five suspects listed below with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Aggravated Assault: Use of a Deadly Weapon:

— William Beverly Jr., 19

— Deundre “Lil Dee” Medious, 21

— Ernest “Bob” Ratliff Jr., 18

— Reginald Young Jr., 18

— And one juvenile

All five suspects have been booked into the Forrest County Jail.

A sixth suspect (pictured wearing a red Nike hoodie) is still at large.
