Mississippi man killed when motorcycle hits side of vehicle turning off road. Officials say speed was a factor.

A Mississippi man was killed Wednesday when the motorcycle he was operating struck the side of a car as it was turning into a driveway.
The wreck occurred on Firetower Road in Harrison County at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Zachery Rushing, 38, of Pass Christian, was killed after he was ejected from his cycle.
Officials report that the motorcycle Rushing was driving north on Firetower Road struck the side of a vehicle traveling southbound and turning left into a driveway.
Officials believe that the motorcycle’s speed was a factor in the crash.
Rushing was wearing a helmet but was ejected off the bike. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The woman, who was in the vehicle, was reportedly transported to the hospital as a precaution.
