18-wheeler carrying load of bees overturns at Mississippi intersection

A Mississippi intersection was literally buzzing with activity when an 18-wheeler carrying a load of bees overturned.
Officials with the Natchez Police Department and Adams County Sheriff’s Office report that the truckload of bees overturned in front of Merit Health Natchez at the intersection of US 61 South and John R. Junkin Drive just after midnight Monday.
Natchez Police Department officers and officials from Adams County Emergency Management Agency responded to the scene.
Some of the bees did get loose during the incident.
Officials said the bees’ owner dispatched a bee company from Woodville to Natchez to gather the loose bees.
AMR Ambulance responded to the scene in the event of injuries, but none were reported.
