Mississippi Skies: Freezing and frosty Tuesday morning, next rainy weather event on the horizon

Published 7:29 pm Monday, March 18, 2024

Tuesday morning will be quite chilly with freezing temperatures and widespread frost across most of the state. The only area expected to stay above freezing is along the Gulf Coast, but it’s still going to be cold.

We’ll warm up quickly over the next day or two as we prepare for our next rain chances. We’re not expecting anything widespread this week as far as rain and thunderstorms go, but a few of us could have a shower Thursday afternoon until Friday morning.

Next weekend, including Palm Sunday, is looking fantastic!
