Mississippi Skies: Next severe weather chances on the calendar as Friday’s wet weather moves into state

The Gulf low we’ve been expecting has finally made it, bringing the potential for heavy rainfall for some of us.
We have great rain chances across the state, but not everyone will get rain. It’s going to hang around through Friday night. Rainfall should end in time for a nice Saturday evening and great Palm Sunday.
Our next rain chances come early next week where we’ll have the chance for some rough weather. The Storm Prediction Center has already placed parts of Mississippi on alert with a Level 2 for potentially severe storms Monday evening into Tuesday. We’ll keep watching forecast models to get a better idea on timing and what’s expected.
