Mississippi Skies: Frosty weather for some as we watch for our next rain chances

Published 7:44 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2024

Some of us will begin Thursday with some frosty weather. Much of the northern third of the state will have widespread frost before warming into the 60s. The 60s will stretch across the rest of the state except for some 70s along the coast.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine through Saturday, but some of us could have some clouds moving in for Easter. Our next rain chances arrive Monday night and will last a few days. There’s no word of storms yet. We’ll keep an eye on forecasts and models over the next few days.
