Mississippi Skies: Next severe weather potential showing in the forecast

Good Friday will be a gorgeous day across the state with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the lower 70s, but we’ll have some clouds return to the state Friday night.
The cloud cover will help keep us a little warmer than we’ve been the past couple of nights.
Sunshine returns Saturday, then more clouds move in for Easter. Most of us should stay partly cloudy Sunday, so it won’t be too much of a dreary day.
We’re still watching the potential for some storms Monday night into Tuesday. Some models are showing we could have a strong storm or two, but we’ll know more details over the weekend.
North Mississippi
Sunny with a high of 72. Becoming mostly cloudy Friday night with a low of 50.
Central Mississippi
Sunny with a high of 73. Increasing clouds overnight with a low of 50. Wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
South Mississippi
Sunny with a high of 74. Mostly cloudy overnight with fog. Low of 49.
Gulf Coast
Sunny with a high of 72. Increasing clouds Friday night with a low of 54.
