Mississippi Skies: Easter Sunday brings change in weather pattern

We’ll certainly feel a change in our weather Sunday as the next front approaches. We’ll remain dry across the state, but we’ll have a plenty of clouds moving in with some humidity and warm temperatures.
We’ll stay dry until Monday with showers moving in Monday night into Tuesday. There could be a couple of strong storms, but the Storm Prediction Center is keeping the severe risk to the far northeastern corner of the state for now.
North Mississippi
Partly sunny with a high of 78. Mostly cloudy Sunday night with a low of 63.
Central Mississippi
Partly sunny and breezy with a high of 79. Wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 63 and wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
South Mississippi
Partly sunny with a high of 80. Wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Overnight, mostly cloudy with a low of 63.
Gulf Coast
Partly sunny with a high of 79. Becoming mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 65.
