The Hattiesburg Police Department has a second suspect in custody from the murder of a 15-year-old.

With the assistance of the Columbia Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Hattiesburg police arrested and formally charged another individual involved in the deadly shooting incident that occurred at the Pineview Apartments on March 25.

Javan Stovall, 20, of Carson, was taken into custody by HPD and has been formally charged with one count of First Degree Murder.

Additional arrests and charges are pending as the investigation continues.
