The rough weather of the past couple of days is finally moving out of the state, leaving damage and flooding in some places.

Thursday will begin with some rain in northern Mississippi and clouds in central and southern Mississippi, but we’ll all clear out with sunshine returning by the end of the day. We’ll also have very windy conditions with some places getting wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour.

The weekend is going to be sunny and warm.
