Police: Mississippi man arrested after he used vehicle to pursue, run over man during argument

Mississippi police have arrested one man who allegedly pursued in his vehicle and ran down another man he with whom he was arguing.
WLOX in Biloxi reports that Biloxi Police arrested Timothy Richard Brown, 39, of Biloxi, on Wednesday for an assault involving a vehicle that occurred on February 26 on the 2300 block of Pass Road.
Responding to a call for a fight in progress, officers learned that one individual had been run over by a car.
According to authorities, Brown and another man were riding together when an argument erupted. The situation escalated when the passenger attempted to leave the vehicle to distance himself from Brown, but the suspect pursued him with the car. Allegedly, Brown struck the victim with the vehicle, inflicting serious injuries.
Following the incident, a warrant was issued for Brown’s arrest, culminating in his apprehension on April 17.
He now faces charges of aggravated assault and is being detained at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
The victim’s condition has not been disclosed.
The Biloxi Police Department urges anyone with additional information regarding the incident to come forward.
