29-year-old Mississippi man dies after fiery three-vehicle wreck

A 29-year-old Mississippi man died in a fiery three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

WTVA News in Tupelo reports that Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the victim as James B. Hill, 29, from Macon.

The accident happened on Highway 50 and involved three vehicles, though the details leading to the collision are still under investigation.

A deputy from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office rescued two individuals from one of the vehicles before it caught fire.

The status of others involved in the wreck have not been reported. The wreck remains under investigation.
