A woman has pleaded guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars from a Mississippi high school’s band booster account.
WJTV in Jackson reports that Donna Gladney Floyd, of Pearl, pleaded guilty Tuesday to embezzling funds from the Brandon High School band booster funds
Floyd was scheduled to go to trial on April 29.
She was arrested by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office after the Rankin County School District and officials from Brandon High School brought the case to their attention.
Floyd is accused of embezzling $45,000 from the band booster funds.
She is scheduled to be sentenced on April 30, 2024.
