Police are investigating after two people were found dead at a Mississippi Gulf Coast bus stop.

The Biloxi Police Department reports that a man and woman were found unresponsive at the Rue Magnolia bus in the 700 block of Beach Boulevard.

An officer reportedly spotted the couple needing medical attention shortly after 6 a.m. Friday.

Although emergency responders were called to the scene, the man and the woman were pronounced dead.

The cause of their deaths is under investigation.
