Two Mississippi State football players arrested Monday night

Two Mississippi State football players have been arrested on drug and alcohol charges.

WTVA in Tupelo reports that freshman football players JJ Harrell and Mario Craver were arrested Monday by MSU police.

Both players were charged with possession of marijuana in a vehicle and possession of beer by a minor.

Mississippi State football coach Jeff Lebby said that his staff is aware of the arrests and that they are continuing to investigate the matter. Lebby said he had no further comment on the incident.
