Two people are dead and one person was transported to the hospital in what is being reported as a possible drug overdose incident Thursday night.

WLBT in Jackson reports that the incident occurred on Taylor Drive in Morton.

Officials with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Morton Police Department and Scott County Coroner’s Office were on the scene.

The victims reportedly overdosed on an unknown substance, according to officials.

One person who survived the incident was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
