Police are investigating after a Mississippi bank was robbed Thursday.

Officials with the Capitol Police in Jackson are investigating a robbery at Trustmark Bank in the 500 block of State Street in Jackson.

Officials report that a man walked into the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding that the teller put money into a bag.

The teller reportedly did not see a weapon but complied with the demands.

The suspect then fled the bank with the money.

Officers later found the suspect’s vehicle on Lakeland Drive with the stolen money still reportedly inside the vehicle. The suspect was not present and has not been arrested.
